As Backend + Infrastructure Engineer at Cavetta Marketing (January 2022 – April 2022), Sundragon executed a focused 4-month contract engagement to establish foundational systems, document workflows, and staff the position needed for long-term stability.

Infrastructure Design Built a secure, documented hosting structure from scratch on DigitalOcean. Designed IAM infrastructure supporting a 15-member team managing 10+ client WordPress websites. Provided DevOps guidance and environment hardening to ensure production reliability.

Backend Standardization Standardized backend operations across 10+ WordPress client sites. Unified deployment patterns and formalized update/backup procedures across the entire portfolio. Reduced fragility and deployment inconsistencies that had plagued client sites.

Knowledge Transfer Recruited, trained, and transitioned responsibilities to a permanent Backend Lead. Created comprehensive documentation ensuring the organization could maintain systems independently. Left the team with both stable infrastructure and a trained engineer to sustain it.
